Lawrence S. “Curly” Heston, Jr., 71, passed away at 9:45 a.m., Monday, Oct. 2, 2017 at Lebanon Valley VA Medical Center.
Born Jan. 12, 1946 in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Elizabeth (Sullivan) and Lawrence Stanley Heston, Sr.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: a son, Larry Heston; brother, Thomas Heston; and a sister, Ann Henion.
He is survived by: a daughter, Michelle Brustlin and husband, Kent, of Allentown; niece, Jennifer Hillman and husband, George, of Mechanicsburg; sisters, Theresa Sheridan and husband, Joe, of Philadelphia, Patricia Heston, of Philadelphia, Francis Heston, of Phoenix, Arizona; granddaughter, Jacqueline Gambino; great-granddaughters, Jade and BellaMaria Gambino; great-niece, Nicole Hillman; and great-nephews, Brandon and Brett Hillman.
Curly was a graduate of North Catholic High School, Philadelphia.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1963-1966.
Curly was owner/operator of the Heston Inn, and later, worked as a home inspector tester at Bicounty Inspections.
Per his wishes, there will be no services.
Arrangements are under the care of Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St. Lewistown.
