Kenneth N. Gutshall, 72, of Lewistown, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2016, at his home.
Born Feb. 17, 1944, in Black Log, Huntingdon County, he was the son of the late Hilda (Rhea) Kilmer and Kenneth N. Gutshall, Sr.
His wife, Janice L. (Shover) Gutshall, whom he married on Jan. 20, 1966, survives, along with: two sons, Kenneth B. Gutshall, of Lewistown, and Matthew S. Gutshall and wife, Katie, of Roaring Spring; grandsons, Kenneth B. and Christian Gutshall; great-grandchildren, Keira Gutshall and Ian Gutshall; and a special aunt, Shirley Walls, of Granville.
Kenneth graduated from Southern Huntingdon County High School.
He served in the Pennsylvania National Guard for six years.
He was employed in maintenance at Conrail and the Norfolk Southern Railway for 33 years, retiring in 2009.
Kenneth loved spending time with his family, especially family outings. He was a big dirt racing fan, enjoyed hunting, and loved his dogs, Ginger and Rally.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, at Granville United Methodist Church, 1346 River Road, Granville, with Rev. G. Edward "Ted" Corcelius officiating.
The family will receive friends from noon until the time of service at the church.
Interment will take place in Juniata Memorial Park.
