Jonathan L. Burkett, 40, of Lewistown died at 2:38 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5, 2016 at Locust Grove.
Born Sept. 8, 1975 in Lewistown he was the son of Paul Burkett and the late Susan (Rieffannacht) Burkett.
In addition to his father he is also survived by: his daughter, Tiesa Burkett of California; brothers, Paul Burkett, Jr., and companion, Amanda, and Harold Elmer Burkett III, both of Lewistown; maternal grandmother, Kathryn Rieffannacht, of Lewistown; and aunts and uncles, Anne Royer and husband, Dick, Carol and John Potts, Nelson Rieffannacht and wife, Mary Lee, all of Lewistown, Andy Burkett, of Fort Myers, and Robert Burkett and wife, Cheryl Lynn, of Killeen Texas.
He served in the U.S. Navy.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9 at Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown with Pastor Randy Traxler officiating.
A viewing will be held from 6 – 8:00 p.m. Monday, Feb. 8 at the funeral home.
Interment with VFW Post 7011 honors will take place in Mt. Rock Cemetery, Lewistown.
