John E. Kirk, Sr., 72, of Lewistown died at 9:54 p.m., Sunday, May 24, 2015 at his home.
Born Nov. 17, 1942 in Lewistown he was a son of the late Robert and Ethel (Spigelmyer) Kirk.
In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Kirk.
John is survived by: sons, John E. Kirk, II and wife, Nina, of Lewistown and Douglas E. Kirk, of McClure; grandchildren, Andrea Kirk-Wilson and Megan Kirk and Jordyn Kauffman; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Judy Pandel, Donna Hopple, Mary Steele and Marlene Miller; and a niece, Linda Lee Hopple.
He was a member of the U.S. Air Force.
A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, May 30, at Hoenstine Funeral Home, 75 Logan St., Lewistown.
The family will receive friends from 4 – 5:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Special services will be conducted by VFW Post 7011.
