Frances K. (Bingaman) Packer

Frances K. Packer, 70, formerly of Lewistown, and a resident of Mountain View Nursing Home, passed away at 4:41 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016 at Geisinger-Medical Center, Danville.
 
Born Sept. 27, 1946 in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Mariam (Poorman) and Harry J. Bingaman.
 
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: four sisters, Betty, Shirley Bingaman, Barbara Earnest, and Marlene Shawver.
 
She is survived by: son, William R. Packer, of Harrisburg, and daughter, Molly D. Packer, of Lewistown; grandchildren, Destiny and Jonathan; siblings, Elizabeth E. Goss, Eleanor Diven, Doris Groom, Harry James Bingaman, Jr., Harold Poorman, Roxann Barnes and Peggy Mellinger.
 
Earlier in life she had worked as a nurse.
 
Frances attended Lewistown Presbyterian Church.
 
She was known to have beautiful penmanship. Frances enjoyed music, time with her family and friends, and sitting around and laughing.
 
The family will receive friends from 2 – 5:00 p.m. Sat., Nov. 26 for a luncheon and a time of fellowship at Lewistown Presbyterian Church, 17 E. Third St., Lewistown with Mr. Thomas Gross, officiating.
