Dorothy E. Goss, 89, formerly of McClure, Snyder County, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, March 17, at Ohesson Manor, Lewistown.
Born July 28, 1927, in McClure, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Emma G. (Zook) Goss.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Fred A. Goss on April 23, 2014; and siblings, Richard, Percy, Kenneth, Lawrence, and Ruth Goss, Mildred Roush, and Shirley Weaver.
She is survived by: her children, Lon A. Goss and wife, Peggy, of Lewistown, and Sandra S. Klingler and husband, Robert, of McClure; a sister, Beryle Wiser, of McClure; five grandchildren, Dalonnie Sherlock and husband, Douglas, Robyn Smith and husband, Andrew, Robert Klingler, Jr. and wife, Janell, Eric Klingler and fiancé, Maria Ward, and Drew Klingler and wife, Cyndi; ten great-grandchildren, Daniesha, Nichole, Jordan, Taylor, Casey, Zachary, Kassidy, Dylan, Jacob, and Gabriel; and a great-great-grandson, Oakley.
Dorothy was a member of the First Church of the Brethren in Lewistown.
In her earlier years, she was employed at the American Viscose Corp., Fisher Electronics and Kinney Shoes.
Dorothy enjoyed being around her family and friends and playing cards.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, March 24 at Samuel’s Cemetery, McClure, with the Reverend Douglas Sherlock, Jr. officiating.
A memorial service will be held at Noon on Sat., March 25, at the First Church of the Brethren, 134 Shaw Ave., Lewistown, with the Reverend Douglas Sherlock, Jr. officiating.
