Clark M. Aitkins, 87, of Lewistown died at 1:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at Locust Grove Retirement Village, Mifflin.
Born Aug. 7, 1929, in Lewistown, he was a son late Ida P. (Lindsey) and Clark M. Aitkins.
In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by: his first wife, Florence (Shawver) Aitkins, in 1988; his daughter, Judy Speicher; and five brothers, Norman, Cleon, Robert and Ray Aitkins, and Harry Worrell.
He is survived by: his wife, Patricia J. (Bassler) Aitkins, whom he married on Nov. 18, 1989; his children, Danny Aitkins and wife, June, Patricia Dupert and husband, Abe, and Marj Hackenburg, and husband, Dan, all of Lewistown; step-children, Lisa Rager and husband, John, of Georgia, Kelly Specht and husband, Tim, of Lewistown, and Dallas Crum, of Milroy; two sisters, Jenny Goss, of McClure, and Rose Bumgardner, of Lewistown; 18 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Most of his life he was a self-employed dairy farmer.
Clark was a member of the Vira Methodist Church, PA Farmers Association, and the NRA.
He enjoyed traveling and camping.
A funeral service will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, Sept. 24 at Heller-Hoenstine Funerals Homes, Inc., 108 First Ave, Burnham, with Rev. Randy Traxler officiating.
A viewing will be held from 10:00 am – 12 noon Sat. at the funeral home.
Interment will take place in Birch Hill Cemetery, Burnham.
