Carol E. (Lauver) Berrier

Carol E. Berrier, 81, of Burnham died at 9:27 a.m., Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at her home.

Born Aug. 21, 1934 in Burnham she was a daughter of the late Amor and Olive (Aurand) Lauver.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: son-in-law, Bernard Miklos, Sr.; two brothers, Wilbur and Arthur Lauver; and a grandson, Ty Berrier.

She is survived by: her husband of 59 years, Joseph G. Berrier, whom she married on June 30, 1956; her children, Joseph A. Berrier and wife, Leslie, of Burnham, Scott Berrier and wife, Melanie, of Port Royal, Lisa Miklos, of Burnham, Brian J. Berrier, of Lewistown and Eric D. Berrier and wife, Betty, of Lewistown; grandchildren, Justin Berrier (Shelly), Laura Berrier, Lucas Berrier (Caddy), Jared Berrier (Brittany), Jessica Miklos, Bernie Miklos (Dani), Elijah Miklos, Alysha Snook (Tricia), Dustin Snook, Brin Berrier, Alden Berrier, Dylan Lalli, Colin Berrier, and Rachael Lalli; and great-grandchildren, Jaxon Berrier and Lennox Berrier.

Carol was a 1952 graduate of Burnham High School.

Earlier in life she had worked at Fisher’s Electronics and Scotty’s Fashions.

She was a member of Park View Church of the Brethren and the Burnham Lions Club.

Carol was enthusiastic about traveling and loved her grandkids and her great grandkids very much.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Sat., Aug. 29 at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Inc., 108 First Ave., Burnham with Pastor Ron Stacey officiating.

A viewing will be held from 7 – 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28 at the funeral home.

Interment will take place in Juniata Memorial Park.
