Carl Michael Snook, 59, of Lewistown, died at 2:07 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
Born May 14, 1956 in Lewistown, he was a son of Gerald E. and Ruth I. (Goss) Snook, of Lewistown.
In addition to his parents, Carl is survived by: his brothers, Terry L. Snook, Sr. and wife, Jean, of New Freedom, PA, Ralph E. Snook, of Lewistown, Jack Campbell, of Chambersburg and Mary Campbell, of Lewistown; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Carl graduated from Chief Logan High School, Class of 1975.
He worked at Standard Steel, Overhead Door, Smith’s Gulf Station and as a maintenance worker for the Mifflin Co. School District.
Carl was a member of the Decatur Fire Co. Fire Police. He was an avid hunter and fisherman in past years, and loved horses.
A funeral service will be held Monday, May 2, 11 a.m. at Heller-Hoenstine Funeral Homes, Burnham, 108 First Ave., with Rev. Clark Kelsey officiating.
A viewing will be held Sunday, May 1, 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will take place in Samuel’s Cemetery, Samuel’s Church Rd., McClure.
